Who We Are
ElectiveCareGuide.com is a lead generation and provider matching service. We help people find healthcare providers for elective procedures.
We are not a healthcare provider, a HIPAA-covered entity, or a business associate. We do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Because we are not a covered entity under HIPAA, your information is protected under this policy and applicable state consumer health data privacy laws.
Consumer Health Data We Collect
When you use our site or fill out our matching form, we may collect:
- Procedure interest — what type of elective procedure you're exploring (from dropdown selections)
- Insurance type — optional, if you choose to share it
- Contact information — name, email, phone number, and ZIP code
- Timeline/urgency — how soon you're considering a procedure
- Free-text messages — anything you type in the message field, which may include health-related information
- Browsing data — pages you visit on our site (e.g., procedure-specific pages) that may indicate health interests
- Usage data — anonymized analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (page views, session duration, device type)
